Steve Rotter (owner) sees all work from start to finish; he is part of the film crew, head editor and photographer, and authors all DVDs that pass through the studio. There is no guessing as to who will be your editor as with most studios. We work with you to get the highest quality production for your budget.  There is never any editing on-site: it is all done back at our studio in a controlled environment.

Video - We offer top of the line digital video production and editing, as well as DVD authoring.  From filming to editing to DVD masters, we provide our clients with the best, most up to date technology.  Along with cameras and sound, we of course have all the magic back at the studio.  Your footage is captured digitally to our hard drives for editing.  We have many effects to choose from and can tweak anything, from video to sound to even green screen effects used in Hollywood.  Your final film, once edited, is encoded to DVD - ready files for the DVD authoring process.  Whether you want a DVD master with no chapters, basic chapters, or motion menus as seen in store-bought movies, we have you covered.  SAR studios produces videos for bands, live concerts, music videos, corporate events, training DVDs to seminars.  We have been serving Chicago and suburbs since 1988 and are based in Elgin Illinois.

Audio - Audio is recorded digitally, whether by wireless lapel microphones that feed direct to camera or digital stereo direct from a soundboard or mixer via sandisc digtial or DAT recorders.  We record audio at 96 khz and once mixed, it is brought to standard 44.1 khz, resulting in excellent dolby digital sound quality.  We even offer pro tools multitrack digital recording.

Photography - We offer some of the best digital photography in Chicagoland.  We use nothing but top of the line Canon and Nikon gear and always give you ALL PHOTOS on CD in high resolution!
