We like to approach music videos, documentaries, or corporate videos on an hourly basis.  We discuss with you what it is you are looking for in your final DVD and plan from there.  We are a great aid in this creative process of video production since SAR studios is run by musicians, pc tech people, cinematographers and graphic artists!!  You might have a certain budget you want to stick to and we try to plan around that as well.  You can save time and money by shooting in 1 location.  Although videos are different amongst clients and pricing can vary, we have included some general pricing you can go on.  We film in HD!

Filming = $250 per hour per camera.  We charge $50 per hour during travel times between sites (if applicable) or downtime.  Audio is recorded digitally via camera, wireless lapel mic, or off mixing board direct to digital stereo units, depending on the event.  If special lighting is required onsite we can bring our studio lighting, add $200.

We do give discounted rates on filming at times......give us a call.

Editing= 1 hour editing included for each hour filmed.  Editing is $40 / hour.  Most videos are edited within 8 hours or less.  You can book time with us and sit in on the editing sessions at our hourly rate or we can finish the video on our own at the same rate.  Your final video is delivered to you on 1 DVD master.  The DVD master has chapter points set every 10 minutes.  

Your DVD Master is included in filming price and includes encoding the final film to DVD movie files as well as encoding the audio to Dolby Digital AC3 audio which is stereo.  From there your DVD Master is burned. 

DVD menus include a looping motion menu with sound and up to 5 chapter links on each menu.  Menus are $200 per menu page.  If more than 5 chapter points are needed per page please add $15 for each chapter point.

Additional DVD masters are $25 each.
